The Last Semester

Tomorrow marks the start of the last semester of my masters program. It will most likely be the busiest and most stressful thus far. In addition, I also have to start applying for jobs and further education (but more on that another day ;) ). Needless to say, I am not super excited for school to be starting up already. Can’t winter break last forever???

I spent most of the day getting stuff ready for tomorrow. Ian and I ran some errands (on foot, I’m loving not having my car here!), I sent some e-mails, and started doing reading for my classes.

I also got attacked by the snack monster as I often do after a long run. I never really had a lunch, just a sampling of unpictured leftovers, veggies and hummus, and an apricot.

I even made ants on a log. Don’t ask me why, I honestly haven’t had this snack in years :P

I also tried this new juice from Trader Joe’s.

Verdict? It’s yummy but I’ll probably use most of it in smoothies. It was just a little too sweet and runny for my taste.

After munching every couple of hours this afternoon, I wasn’t super hungry for dinner.

So after making Ian dinner, I threw together a smoothie using frozen berries, 1/2 a banana, plain yogurt, almond milk, an amazing grass packet, and a drizzle of agave. I topped it with some cereal and raw cashews.

Yum! I love cashews, I’m so glad I threw them into the cart at TJ’s today!

I’m off to enjoy my last few hours of freedom. I have a 12 hour day tomorrow!
